Man-power requirements:

  • Qualified Panchakarma physicians, trained Panchakarmatherapists, housekeeping staff and pharmacist.

Droni:

  • Measurement: 9feetx2.5 feet size(with extension for performing Shiro Dhara)
  • 7feet x 2.5 feet (without extension for performing Shiro Dhara)

ASSESSMENT OF PATIENT

The patients receiving panchakarma treatmentswill be assessed for the following features.            

  • Vitals
  • Bowel habits
  • Appetite
  • Sleep
  • Allergy
  • JeernaharaLakshana

 

Condition of the patients will be evaluated before and after the treatment.

 

Condition of the patient evaluated on a daily basis before & after the treatmentprocedure will be assessed, documented and appropriate management will be provided, if needed in case of any emergency.

GUIDELINES FOR PERFORMING EACH PROCEDURE
  • All procedures will be carried out in the presence of experts.
  • The patient will be educated regarding all aseptic measures and procedures well in advance.
  • Biomedical waste management will be maintained.
  • Yellow- infectious waste, bandages, gouze, cotton or any other objects in contact with body fluids, human body parts etc.
  • Red- Plastic waste such as catheters, injection syringes,tubings etc.
  • Blue- All types of glass bottles and broken glass articles, outdated and discarded medicines.
  • Black- needles without syringes, blades, sharps and all metal articles
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR PATIENTS
  • Easily digestible food should be taken 2 hours before treatment.
  • Hot water should be taken for the whole period of the procedure.
  • Day sleep should be avoided; take proper sleep at night.
  • Avoid exposure to breeze, sunlight and cold atmosphere.

 Note : Some exceptions will be there in case of Snehapana and Basti treatments
