KIZHI

PREPARATION OF KIZHI
  • Hold the four ends of the cloth one by one and hold it tight at the base.
  • Open the four flaps and tighten the pottali.
  • Insert the three ends of flap to the center leaving one large flap which becomes a triangle shape.
  • Hold the bottom corner of the triangle and without loosening the pottali tighten the pottali by rotating the corner end.
  • Now the flap becomes a square and the handle of kizhi becomes cylindrical.
  • Fold the top and tie it with a thread.
  • Tighten the thread from base to top by making a head and the neck and tie the knot tightly.
